Still in the process of editing version 2 of Shades of Red, and am currently around 20% done. There's a lot of changes to be made to the 200,000 word book so far, and rather than going over it page by page, I'm simply re-writing the whole thing, using the first version as a kind of sketch to work from. At this point, I'm adding all kinds of characters, information, locations etc whilst brutally removing others, and changing whole aspects of the books plot, in my opinion it's vastly better already just with a different opening.

I'm going to make a Shades of Red website to feature art work, information on the species and races in the world, a blog on progress I'm making (that I'll try to update more often then I do this journal), teaser snippets of the WIP, and who knows maybe even a map or two. Hope that sounds of interest to people! Interested to hear what people think 
